BEGINNER HOT YOGA – Level 1
Beginner Hot Yoga classes are taught in a heated room, which helps loosen tight muscles and promotes sweating to help detoxify the body. We add humidity to the room which eases breathing, moisturizes skin and hair, and increases sweat. Our focus is on controlled breath, moving meditation, and yoga pose alignment. Each yoga posture is held for 10-60 seconds with a short rest between to relax, integrate, and slow the heart rate. Foundational breathing techniques and alignment principles are taught, slowly and compassionately, with detailed instruction. Variations are offered to accommodate students that might find something too difficult, as well as to more advanced students that want more of a challenge. This class is transformational, will create radiant health, and build flexibility and strength for your body mind and spirit.
BEGINNER HOT VINYASA – Level 1.5 Classes
Our Beginner Vinyasa classes move at a more energetic pace where students will learn to flow from one yoga posture into the next in conjunction with the breath. Students can look forward to a slow moving Vinyasa class with extra attention to alignment and breathing. Techniques from various yoga styles including Dharma Yoga, Ashtanga Yoga, Bikram Yoga and Baptiste Power Yoga are integrated into the teacher’s own creative flow. Ideal for beginners ready for more of a challenge. Hot Yoga classes are offered at our Sun Studio 345 Montauk Highway East Moriches.
HOT VINYASA – Level 2 Classes
Vinyasa classes move at a more energetic pace where students will learn to flow from one yoga posture into the next in conjunction with the breath. Students can look forward to invigorating calesthetics, challenging sequences, advanced variations and inversions being introduced. Techniques from various yoga styles including Dharma Yoga, Ashtanga Yoga, Bikram Yoga and Baptiste Power Yoga are integrated into the teacher’s own creative flow. Ideal for advanced beginners ready for more of a challenge. Hot Yoga classes are offered at our Sun Studio 345 Montauk Highway East Moriches.
HOT MAT PILATES – All Level Class
High energy, low impact. (No jumping) using Pilates principles. We target muscles groups and work in intervals. 20 seconds of work 10 seconds rest. Repeated 8 times. Using toning or cardio or both. (20/10 *8) We target all the muscles by doing bridges, squats, ab work, push-ups, mountain climbers and burpees. This really drives up the metabolism and gets into an after-burn. Creating long lean muscle mass. And it is extremely fun.
BEGINNER YOGA BASICS
Join us for a four week repeating workshop style class. This is a recommended place to start your newyoga practice in conjunction with your new student special. Classes can be taken in any order so jump inany time you are ready. During class we will review breathing exercises, meditation, yoga poses and modifications suitable for your practice, basic yoga philosophy, studio etiquette, yoga products, and more. Hands-on physical adjustments are available in this class setting. A senior instructor will lead these classes, teacher may vary. Offered quarterly.

ASHTANGA INSPIRED VINYASA – All Level
An all level Ashtanga Vinyasa class based on the primary series. Ashtanga is a set sequence of poses designed for Every-Body. A beautiful practice that builds strength, quiets the mind, and encourages a moving meditation in the practitioner. Offered periodically.
PRIVATE & GROUP YOGA CLASSES
We offer both in-studio and offsite private or group yoga classes. private instruction is a wonderful way to begin your practice or to enhance your existing practice. These classes can be booked at our studio or at your preferred location.Private group classes are great for those who prefer to practice at home with family or friends, or for those special events (birthdays, anniversaries, bachelor/ette events, beach yoga, wellness weekends, retreats, etc.) Please contact us to schedule your next session.
SOUND BATH
Michele’s sound bath is designed to open all chakras (energy centers) with an emphasis on the heart chakra connecting to the crown chakra. Using instruments such as gongs, singing bowls, chimes, guitar and vocals, Michele aligns frequencies with each chakra. The goal is to shift the active brain to an alpha or theta state which can help with relaxation, stress reduction and wellbeing. The experience is very passive as participants typically lie down on a yoga mat, with pillows and blankets with closed eyes being open to all the sounds. Consistently attending sound baths can be a very healing experience.
Offered Sundays 6-7PM.
