Lisa began a journey of self-discovery where she found yoga, meditation and mindfulness to be the strongest tools to aid in healing grief, stress and anxiety. After initially completing her 200YTT to deepen her practice and use in her 6th grade classroom, she realized she wanted to help others to heal and share the positive impact that yoga and meditation have made in her life. So in addition to kids yoga and mindfulness, she began teaching restorative yoga. Lisa helped build a successful restorative program at Aura in Mattituck and has been teaching restorative, as well as vinyasa yoga at Solntse in Wading River. She is also certified and trained to teach restorative, yoga nidra and aromatherapy through Laughing Lotus Yoga studio in NYC and continues to work closely assisting her master teacher with teacher trainings and workshops.
She is committed to positively motivating her students by inspiring them to utilize what they learn on the mat and integrate it into their everyday life. In pursuit of her healing Lisa received certification as a Reiki level one and two practitioner and a Tuning Fork certification in Sound Healing. Her love of nature and the outdoors inspired her to earn an additional certification as a SUP yoga instructor, where she can take her practice to the water and bask in the sun. She believes in consistently maintaining and improving her professional knowledge, striving for excellence through continued education and training. She is currently enrolled in a 300 YTT advanced teacher program through Always at Aum.
